We are looking for names of elderly East Falls residents whom we could interview in their homes at their convenience for the purpose of recording and archiving their memories of East Falls in a bygone era.

The recently published book, "KELLY; A Father, A Son, An American Quest" is available at the price of $30.00 The book describes the East Falls neighborhood that produced a three-time gold medal olympic rowing champion and the son he trained to win the Diamond Skull Championship at Henley. The East Falls Historical Society provided materials for the book and is mentioned in the acknowledgements.

A model of the "Flying Yankee" train made by the Budd Company is on display at the Falls of Schuylkill Library meeting room. It was donated by former East Falls resident Jack Yerkes.
