Other Organizations in East Falls

East Falls Village

A community within a community, the volunteer-driven East Falls Village was established in 2011 as a way to enable members to remain in the houses and community they call home.

East Falls Historical Society

The East Falls Historical Society is a 501c3 tax-exempt educational organization founded in 2004.  Our mission is to preserve, protect and promote the history of the East Falls community.  To this end we acquire articles and objects of historic importance.  These acquisitions are properly archived and cataloged.  We provide walking tours and free programs of historical interest, interview residents for oral histories, offer advocacy for preservation of historic sites, maintain a collection of historic photos, apply for grants and answer reference questions from the public.  Volunteers are welcome to assist in these endeavors.  Our membership fees are:  student $5.00, individual $10.00, business $75.00 and other donor categories.  We maintain an office at 3728 Midvale Avenue and at the Falls of Schuylkill Library by appointment.
